III. Planned Goals, Targets and Key Points

1. Focused Targets

The goals is to aim at focal areas and the landscape of whole city greenification/beautification. .

(1) Reconstruction of the 5 types of space—

項目 Community Type: The guidance of greenification and beautification will be undertaken in 12 administrative districts in the whole city, 449 villages in total
項目 School Type: The guidance of greenification and beautification will be undertaken in 141 public elementary schools in the whole city.
項目 Commercial Area Type: The guidance of greenification and beautification will be undertaken in 48 commercial areas and shopping streets in the whole city.
項目 Market Type: The guidance will be undertaken in 141 municipal and civil markets in the whole city.
項目 Office Buildings— About 100 office buildings in the whole city

(2) Important Roads and Parks—

項目 Important Roads: The 5 important roads on Two Axes and Three Routes in the focal areas of Flower Exhibition.
項目 Parks: The 90 village/neighborhood parks and 47 large parks in the focal areas of Flower Exhibition.

2. Mobilized Targets

Mobilizationof manpower and resources for greenification/beautification construction.

(1) Formvolunteer teams for greenification, by organizing community residents, school teachers and students, stores in commercial areas, market vendors, and employees in office locations.

(2) Form professional service teams for greenification, by mobilizing scholars and specialists.

(3) Mobilize proprietors of landscape and gardening industry to participate jointly.

 

3. Key points in the work

Key points for promoting greenification/beautification construction in this plan

(1) Environmental greenification/beautification—

1. Undertake the greenification reconstruction for vacant lands, balconies, wall surfaces and rooftops in the 5 types.

2. Greenification/beautification for large parks, village/neighborhood parks and roads.

(2) Environmental Arrangements

Leveling of arcades and sidewalks, and arrangements of advertising stuff

(3) The marketing propaganda plan of “beautifying Taipei our home, to receive the good city with Flower Exhibition” -

To promote the plan of garden city as well as the information about Flower Exhibition to citizens, by applying various kinds of propaganda media and promotion objects.
